Makes me think of some of the stuff from the animated show "Monkey Dust" that was on the BBC years ago. Now that WAS dark. It's difficult to get hold of now, other than the first series. But you may want to check that out...It's certainly something!
I love this Debbie! The comic, the letter, the space to express more than one side of yourself -- all for it. Have you read EERIE TALES FROM THE SCHOOL OF SCREAMS by Graham Annable? Based on your comic, I think you would love it :)
The moment I finished hearing King read his book “On Writing” I went out to dig a fossil. It was very dark and damaged, but it was something that needed to come out.
It actually reminded me of the Emo Philips routine … “When I was a kid, my favourite time of the year was that magical first snowfall. I'd yell Yippee! Snow! and run up to the front door and shout You know the deal... You have to let me in now!”

Oh, interesting! I've heard of "Monkey Dust" but I'll have to look for that.
I love it, Debbie. Definitely my kind of dark humor!
TJ! So great to hear from you. And thank you. :-) Usually when I post this comic I get either silence, or people asking me if everything's ok.

Ooooh, I'll have to find that book. Thanks for the recommendation, Rachel!
